Our Story
It all began with the efforts of Mr. Mian Muhammad Rafiq (late), who started this company
to serve several purposes, including manufacturing, trading, real estate, and stocks.
The company is now being run by his youngest son Mian Muhammad Shafique Alam, who is
continuing his father's legacy. We have come a long way since our humble beginnings,
and we are proud to say that we are one of the leading companies in Pakistan.
Our story is one of hard work and dedication. We started out with a small team of
dedicated employees, and we have now grown into a large company with a diverse range of
industries and services. We are proud to say that we have helped countless people in
Pakistan and around the world achieve their goals. Even after 150 years, we are
committed to our original mission of providing quality products and services to all our
customers.
Chairman's Message - Mr. Mian Muhammad Shafiq Alam
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Alam Group. No one could have imagined
what started as a small business in Lahore would become one of Pakistan's leading
companies. And more than that, how we have successfully managed to carry forward this
legacy out to the world.
My father (Mr. Mian Muhammad Rafiq) always believed in the potential of Pakistan and its
people, and he worked hard to create opportunities for them. I am proud to say that we
have continued his legacy and have become one of the country's most respected and
successful businesses.

the years. I am confident that with your help, we will continue to grow and prosper in

CEO - Mr. Faraz Shafiq Alam
Mr. Faraz Shafiq Alam's journey to becoming the CEO of a successful conglomerate began in Lahore. After completing his studies at Boston University in the United States, he returned to Pakistan and joined the family business in 1998. He managed the leather tannery until 2004, when the group decided to prospect into the textile industry. Mr Alam was transferred to the textile division as CEO, and he quickly began to implement his vision for the company. The company has since branched into many different areas, including plastic polymer production and solar power generation. Under Mr. Faraz's leadership, the company has flourished and continues to grow larger every year. There is no doubt that he is an excellent leader and a great asset to the company.
Managing Director - Mr. Adeel Shafiq Alam
Mr. Adeel Shafiq Alam is a man of many talents. A graduate of the University of Leeds in the UK, he also holds a one-year diploma in Leather Technology from University College Northampton. In 2001, he joined his family's business and was soon promoted to Managing Director of their leather tannery. It was during this time that he discovered his true passion for leatherwork and began exploring the export market. Thanks to his efforts, the company's exports increased by 70%, along with the privilege of working with all major Italian brands. In 2020, he took the initiative to launch the online fragrance brand Souk Galleria. Today, it is one of the most popular fragrance brands in Pakistan. Thanks to Mr. Adeel's dedication and hard work, the company is thriving and continues to grow to new heights.
Director - Mr. Hammad Shafiq Alam
Mr. Hammad Shafiq Alam is a well-known industrialist and business tycoon. He completed his graduation from the University of Houston in 2005. Afterward, he joined his family business and served as the Director of the Textile spinning unit. He has developed different types of yarns from various kinds of fibers and created a vast export market for the company. In 2020, he was given the charge as the COO of Souk Galleria. And in 2022, he was given additional responsibility for the plastic polymer business and solar panels. Furthermore, he incorporated a tech company named "Sintel.io" in 2022 that offers website development, software development, app development, web design, system integrations, and telemarketing solutions. Under his effective leadership and management, all the businesses are running smoothly and efficiently. We hope to see more success stories from him in the future.
