Polymers
Alam Group's Polymer's portfolio revolves around two main types
of products:
engineering plastics and commodity plastics.
Engineering plastics are a group of plastic materials that have superior mechanical
and/or thermal properties to conventional commodity plastics. These materials are
typically used in applications where high performance is required, such as automotive,
electronics, and medical applications.
Commodity plastics are a group of plastic materials that are used in a wide range of
applications where performance is not as critical as it is for engineering plastics.
These
materials are typically less expensive than engineering plastics and are used in
applications such as packaging, consumer goods, etc.
